He dared! Glen Cook dared to mix the dark thriller, caricature (trench coat, shabby office, spinning and beautiful pépées tame) and fantasy (elves, magic, two-handed swords and other appetizers ilk)! The result is refreshing, well served by the direct style of the author. Finally something new in the dusty world of fantasy!
