The "Extreme" version is a slightly different variation of the original card game. There are a few more special cards, but especially the "Card Ejector" ensures the real innovation.
I'm actually a traditionalist, but after a few laps with children I know that this device a very special appeal and an amazing psychological effect just on young players (we play it at home with a 6 and a 7-year-olds) has. Because suddenly it is no longer "the evil adults" that distributes the "penalty cards", but a fiery red machine. Everyone, the UN has played frequently with children, knows the scenario: A child must draw 4 cards and begins to "blare" when you give him the cards. When Card Ejector decides the machine - the adults are fine out. And - believe me, or let it be - children accept a buzzing plastic crate as an arbitrator rather than a fellow adult.
That said, I must say that I like better the classic version. Even the Card Ejector could be made a little higher quality. The acts but it all somehow quite "cheap". And unfortunately, is also much too large-sized packaging with a labbe engined foil windscreen only partly as a storage box outside of game rounds. However, the biggest drawback is the type of batteries that need to be used: so-called "baby-cells".. When batteries of all cases are used to something smaller Mignon cells today in 95%. So you have the choice: buy disposable batteries or an extra purchase for this game Baby-cell batteries.
Conclusion: The slightly modified gameplay pays off especially when children join. For this purpose, a "thumbs up". However, the packaging and the type of batteries are just plain annoying. But clearly a "thumbs down".
For me it is enough, unfortunately only three stars.
