I chose this because 50mm was classified as an objective expert (semi-pro will tell us) and I'm not disappointed ... It is excellent. It stands out clearly from my quality zoom "general public" (DT 18-70mm F3.5-5.6 a SONY) on its construction and finish. The grip is good, even if the manual focus ring could have been more accessible. Otherwise, as shown in a test that I had read, this lens is really powerful.
