The player is connected quickly. At the front there is only sensor keys. The Einschaltfeld works well, the other (open, Play / Pause, Stop) go only sporadically. A real annoyance. But the remote control may also everything.
When switching is heard loud and clear the engines and a twang. This disappears when actually playing a DVD or BR disc.
The only facility is spartan. In addition to the dialog language, the resolution still is queried. That's it.
The menu is also very minimal, but provides a lot of settings for image resolution, colors (accomodations), sound and other settings.
The ROM is version 1.01. Unfortunately I only 1:02 from 2012 found on the net, but brings no visible changes. On the Hualu page is certainly nothing to be found.
A browser or apps such as at Philips there not, also not have access to a home network (with Media Server) only BD-Live. That's weak.
BR discs and DVDs he is well again, the colors are right, the image keeps loose with 200 euros with players.
Unfortunately, it seems to come sometimes for a split second to minimal interference with very complex images. But this is only noticeable in direct comparison to other players.
And he remembers from last 5 inserted discs where you last saw and jump back inside.
However, the real strength is the USB port and media player. He reads FAT32 and NTFS drives easily.
Transcoded films are nearly all easily played even ffmpeg, and the container MKV, AVI, TS, MPG, AVCHD and RMVB. So he plays almost everything from (my Panasonic and Philips swallow every 2 format does not!).
One more word on the operation. As I said, the sensor buttons on the device are just crap.
The remote itself is good but tidy and has a variety of functions (eg, zoom, picture in picture, Replay).
For the price of 80 Euro super. If you want more, must lie down significantly more.
