I started reading the pages and marched by themselves! The world the author has created is dense, full of exciting details. Loved map available at the beginning of the novel, she allows us to follow the course of history with the place. Here we discover a world created from scratch, but the pen of the author is so rich ... With details, accurate descriptions and interesting anecdotes, it makes this fantasy world as real as possible.
I loved the characters. All even. They are well described, highly developed, we quickly attaches to them, so they become very good travel companions throughout playback.
For cons, I admit that when I had to stop reading (for some reason X or Y, obviously, real life ... unfortunately we always catches lol) I struggled to get back into the history. There is a long time to adapt to soak up the atmosphere, mythology and all these characters! There are so many! The difficulty is that no items "concrete" to hold on, it is a completely imaginary world, do not forget. However when one manages to go with this universe, we are not disappointed! It is impossible! Everything is: intrigue, suspense, romance, action ...
For me, there really has two parts in this book. First education and development of Phaedra, and then, after the tragedy, we find a lot Phaedra adult who must confront this new world after the loss of loved ones. New issues are addressed, other plots, the desire for revenge ... Everything comes together very quickly. We have no time to breathe. One thing is certain, you can not get bored having embarked on such a story!
Without being a real blow caeur (I have less right now ...) this is a novel that I liked, and that gives me so want to discover very quickly the next volumes of this saga !
