Contrary to what was said at the time, this album Zeppelin is simply excellent and I even tend to love above all others, which is saying a lot, given the worship I literally dedicated to this group. We always speak of the acoustic side of this album which is of course undeniable, but the beginning of the disc is positively electric (except friends): Immigrant song, Celebration day, the fabulous blues "Since i've been lovin 'you", and "Out on the tiles", then we are entitled to too underestimated "Gallows Pole", arranged by tradtionnel Page / Plant which is simply a piece of anthology, then we obviously pass to famous acoustic tracks both criticized the time and yet as masterpieces: "Tangerine", "That's the way", "Bron y Aur Stomp" and then the dessert: the tribute to singer Roy Harper, unknown friend of the group which sings of Plant a demented way, I never get tired of listening to this piece! This reissue is interesting from the standpoint of the quality of the remastering which this time is truly remarkable, the disc "companion" is certainly a plus, but is not really necessary, apart from two unpublished. For now I have commanded it, but I think I'll let myself be tempted by the other two (1 and 2), what you want, when one loves, one does not count!
