Or to return to this book, being a fan of John Howe (I also met him a few years ago), I find this book indispensable in the sense that we enter into the intimacy of man and of his art. Of course, do not expect to learn to draw with this book because it is primarily aimed at drawing enthusiasts who already have some background in this area and for whom the world of Tolkien (or fantasy) is dream ... However, the fact of seeing John Howe give artistic advice and explain how he builds his graphic works give this book its importance for whoever is interested in this artist because it's the first time that one can see the work that angle ... A bit like if he personally gave us a drawing class.
In short, a book that is worth its 5 stars.
