A small Tamron Treasure!

I originally wanted to buy the predecessor, but then came Tamron and has created a new edition of the legendary classic 90mm for macro photography. And it was good to wait. Because now it is one of my Liebingsobjektive for creative photography Close - but also for portrait and sometimes even in an emergency, you can record a nature photo or scene with the 90mm prime lens.

My great features for the lens are:

- Reasonable price with good workmanship, feel fit
- Sensitivity is great - the 2.8 is noticeably well in the near-Photography
- Operation is perfect, all important switches and functions are well arranged and accessible
- Great Bokeh!
- Great sharpness in the details pane - it must indeed have. I am always delighted to see what details you can pick out the part!
- Focused quite good, fast enough for small creepy-crawlies
- Solid Lens Hood (Lens-Aperture) holds, sometimes from a few bumps and the placement of objects ...
- The large / wide adjustment for manual focus allows for precise manual work
- The VC works very well

A few cons:

- Sometimes the AF is a bit noisy, I have the impression and on some subjects "verfummelt" he
- I have a little trouble with a achromatic and this lens, extension rings, I could not test
- I do not know why Tamron makes - but a protective bag should have the standard equipment to include when purchasing it. Yes, I have a camera bag and backpack - but sometimes you just want the camera and the lens 'loose' take and then is only possible if you can come up with something (or another lens of his must sign).

Overall it is a really cheap and great macro lens, which already was photographed numerous motives to my delight for me.
