a subtle and poetic story

I read this book in a crèche for children of 3-5 years, and then I read it in school library to classes of children up to 9 years. I felt so much pleasure to see them dive, wondering eyes and mouths round in this beautiful story. The parallel drawn between their lives, where they have the opportunity to say, like that of envy, nice things around them and the children of history, who must buy the words to make, gave the opening very rich discussions with larger and allowed to live moments full of sweetness and compassion with the little ones. the images are beautiful, and the message of beauty.
