A super sequel - with small drawbacks

This review is based on about 4.5 hours of play "experience", so I was able to get a slight glimpse. Nevertheless, I also could not explore everything - so you lose out a bit, please. (: After the first pressure determined often been on the overall impression of a game, at least that's with me like that.

The principle of Pokémon you have to explain to anyone here, right?
So what's new about Pokémon X and Y? The innovation that stands out first of all, is the language. Even before the game starts you can choose from several languages ​​like English, German, French, Italian, etc. a, which then permanently (!) Is used for this game. A very nice feature, I think because I play personally prefer in English and I was finally on a German version did so the first time the chance. The new region

THE CHART
At first she is a bit strange and lost - at least for me - a lot of nostalgia, which Pokémon was far for me. This makes the graphics but not bad, quite the contrary! She is really very pretty to look at, and after so many years it was about time for something new. Especially in the fight the whole thing comes really nice like the validity and the new animations me very well. They are accustomed to simple, but look but very beautiful. Se remember the animation (especially when a Pokémon will be defeated) very at Pokemon stage but not so edgy.
On the Overworld is striking that the otherwise monotonous NPCs (non-playable characters) vary greatly in design and that we have put a little more effort. Very nice!

The 3D effect
This is of limited use in the game. On the Overworld's not the point, otherwise only in the fighting or "cut scenes" (I call now times - actually there are only smaller events) and in caves. This is now no shortcoming, in my opinion, because I do not often use to anyway. However, the game a bit jerky when using the 3D effect in the fight. It must therefore be treated with caution.

THE SOUND

OTHER FEATURES

Meanwhile, I have the main story of the game by playing and would like Pokémon Y now but give the five stars, it deserves in my opinion. The most negative point of my review, namely roller skates, go with something lighter but settling of the hand and can even be avoided completely in the hand with the Itemradar.
But why the change of heart? I am thrilled with the main story and as the game became clear to me that it has the four stars simply do not deserve. Many find the story about the rival team Flare ridiculous and superficial, but I think it's related to other Ereginissen in the story quite exciting and even intoxicating. Toward the end, the fights are getting better staged, only the stuttering with the 3D effect, of course, remain. The only negative that remains is the fact that you überlevelt too fast.
