Now back to the TG820. The lens shutter is an important criterion for me as I plug the camera prefer without bag in his pocket and I do not want to scratch the lens. To the old mju725 the camera has become somewhat larger, but in comparison with the competition in the midfield. Therefore it is a bit easier.
The image quality I do not rate high because I am aware I have purchased an outdoor camera and must make cuts in the image quality due to the construction. But I am satisfied so far with the quality of the images.
What I like:
# Materials make a high-quality impression
# The camera is fast, when I turn it is immediately usable.
What I do not like:
- Operation with the joystick is very complicated, it happens very easily that one clicks OK instead continue to "scroll"
- In the old camera in place of the joystick was a ring with which I could select flash, self-timer, exposure immediately, now I have to click each time to the menu and use the joystick around forever.
- It is not supplied separate charger, the battery is being charged in the camera. Since I will buy myself a 2nd Battery, I can not simultaneously charge a battery and taking pictures now. Except I buy the charger afterwards (at a premium price)
Aja, compared with old camera I miss even the alarm clock function :) a function that does not have to have a camera absolutely, but I found them extremely practical and have also used a lot ...
All in all I am very satisfied with the camera! Can you only recommend. With battery charging I will arrange me somehow and I'll learn the joystick hopefully also to use :)
