I echoed the comments of the above me. The translation does not do justice to this basic book on the practice of Mindfulness by Kabat-Zinn promoted. It is simply amazing that a publisher lets a mediocre style! An example, in French to make "shortness of breath" (= breath), the translator invented this fantastic expression "shortness of breath"! To believe that the whole book went through Google Translator without human effort to fix it in proper French ... It's a lack of respect for the language and the readers. This is in addition to a pocket reissue two publishers (De Boeck for the original edition, J'ai Lu for republishing) thus validating this bad writing ... It is better to turn to the English edition or so other books of author available in French.
The publisher De Boeck should exercise greater rigor; I highly recommend it also for other quality books on the psychology of the 3rd CBT vague that it is well within the Francophonie.
