A transport emotions

Almost all this work is innervated by the story of Sophie, non-Jewish Polish youth who unfortunately will know the horror of the concentration camps, because she dared secretly buy a ham to give strength to his tubercular mother. So that's the story, through the narration of Sophie, of millions of people, Jews and non-Jews, who lived through the horror of the camps. I think I never had a book in which there were as many feel it, to grasp the atrocity: Himmler, Hoess and others Nazis are present. The author manages to describe the stench of burning bodies, thousands of Polish children the Nazis voluntarily freeze to death ...
