Loved the Elegance of the Hedgehog and I rushed over A Gourmandise. We find the same building and some of the characters, japan too. This is actually the first book, the sequel (if one can speak of a suite) being Elegance of the Hedgehog. A greed plunges us into the world of gastronomy by the vision of a critic in his latest days of life. The sensuality that is described in this book and that emanates page after page is simply extraordinary.
