I am a teenager, but I live in France and am fluent in English yet NOT COMPLETELY. Alice's Adventures in Wonderland which one of the first English novels I read, and I loved it. I went on to read Through the Looking Glass and loved it just as much. I think indeed it is a perfect book to read to children. The language that clear enough for me to understand, and I am not a native English speaker, so it would be easy for a child to understand. But even as a young adult, I loved the funny story and the funny people who were in the books. I recommend this book to everyone!
