We also think the themes of Philip K. Dick on parallel worlds, on uncollected truths, if not by a small number of people. But it is not Dick, no paranoia, no worlds skid. Whenever the character returns to his past, he is very practical, very Cartesian and romance fiction filled with the most fantasized actions of time travel: How to get rich, how to influence the great events of the world, how better love?.
But this book is less a beautiful aeuvre SF an effective thriller with a beautiful classic love story any less comical than the film with Bill Muray "day marmots" which remains the most successful film on the repetition of loving dialogue.
This novel has no particular literary ambition, but it is taking and frankly a very good read in the Paris metro.
