I'm not a fan of P Planking .. However I devoured this novel ... I think it contains anything that can bridge the amateur post apocalyptic genre .. The disaster is brutal ... We live the dice live the first pages and the rest of the time the characters (chiseled pithy reality) incur the consequences ... The narrative structure between two poles: The main character is stuck in Paris and he tries to reach his home .. It's an amazing journey in a cold lava extreme environment .. .. dangerous and deadly fumes .. not always good and not always bad meetings (sometimes both) .. The other part concerns the family awaits the return of the main character in a kind of fortress occasionally besieged and under the thumb of a limited character .. dangerous and harmful .. The house is beautifully described and inhabited (the situation and locations are searched) .. Frankly a great time reading full of surprises ... AND OUTSTANDING shades .. In this kind I mention Treasures of the SF - Ultimate Julia Verlanger, Volume 1: Wild Earth which is another must post apocalyptic ... The fire of God is excellent!
