Building
Each player receives a player tableau. Each of the 3 sets of each row of the player five different spices, the coin and the Mulimarker. Then the cards are divided into different stacks. The additional cards come in the first few games not used and are discarded. Of the 12 starting cards with the bluish background, each player gets three pieces dealt, just by the Patriarch Card. From these maps, each player builds in front on three caravans. For this purpose it shall always the Patriarch card on one of the hole cards in such a way that although the image of the card is hidden underneath, but not the text with the actions. Thus, each player has three caravans in front of him, with whom he denies the game. The standard and special cards are shuffled and placed face down on the gaming table. Then still the order cards are shuffled and four of them placed on the table. These are the first orders that can take care of the player. Then the player whose card has the lowest starting number at the bottom left starts.
Gameplay
If a player is on the train, then he has to choose an action a top resting caravans card. If he has performed the action of the card, it moves either again as the last card in the caravan set back, or coming out of the game. But for more equal.
Caravans actions
The caravans actions have a bright background. If more than one of such actions can be found on a map, the player has to choose one of them.
Some actions bring the players spices, gold or mules. Others allow him to fulfill an order, or to influence the caravan of another player, or even your own. There are a lot of cards with different actions, all of which are described in the instructions again in detail, but mostly speak for themselves.
For some actions, the player must also only pay anything to use it may. Once an action has been used, the card comes back again in the caravan series.
Patriarch Matriarch card
A special card is the "Patriarch Matriarch Card" which is always the first card game is the beginning of each caravan.
The first action of this card allows the player to draw two cards from the standard deck of cards and keep one of them. The other card is on a discard pile.
The Patriarch card then comes behind the caravan series and behind the new card.
If you use the second action of the Patriarch Card, so you turn the card over and places it back in the back of the caravan a. She is now on the matriarch page.
This card comes back in front of the caravan and is used, then the player may choose a card from the discard pile and then classify the back of the caravan. The matriarch card comes to the end of the caravan again, but again turned to the Patriarch page.
Farewell Action
On many cards, there are actions that are printed on a red background. These are actions farewell. This means that if a player uses such an action, the card is no longer in the caravan back, but out of the game. From the game's back and not on the discard pile, but into the box.
Again, there are a wide variety of actions that need to be only partly paid, partly free.
Match
If a player wants to fit, so he chooses a caravan series and puts the top card of this series back to back in the caravan. If the card has a but! thereupon, he may not fit in this map. These are for example the Patriarch Matriarch cards.
Fulfill orders
Allows a caravan action the player to fulfill an order, he may choose any one of the four contracts, except the action it allowed him only a certain type of job to be done (Small order, special order, etc.). The finishing tasks usually requires a basic requirement. These are found on the left side of the job. Mostly you need a certain number of mules. If you can meet this basic requirement, then you have to pay also the costs related to the contract. These could be spices, coins and even mules. If the player can also pay for the costs, he may take the order and open lay out in front of him. The other players must at all times can see the VPs. Then immediately a new order is revealed.
Full time
Once a player has reached 25 Victory Points (VPs there for orders and a few specific caravan cards), the current round is played to the end and then looked to see who earns the most victory Punke. This player wins the game.
Small Conclusion
Kashgar as a Dominion Deckbauspiel. But that was it for now with the similarities. Kashgar takes place not better or worse than Dominion, but just different. Initially collects each card for his caravan together, but already fast one knows all the cards that can occur and begins its strategy and tactics to refine. With players the very long plan your moves, however, it may also be a bit boring for the other players)
Otherwise Kashgar makes every lap more and more fun and is not too complicated.
