The great strength of this book is that all the characters are well-researched, even the secondary. Joss is a girl traumatized by the death of her parents and her best friend, and refuses to open up to anyone. But by moving into an apartment of Dublin Street, it will quickly build up a friendship with Ellie, and his brother Braden. Then his life will be totally out of whack. Joss will have to learn to accept the emotions she feels she has the habit of ignoring his feelings and to let some people go into his heart.
For it is hard to resist at this Scottish determined character! I really liked their relationship, which is both chaotic and very tender, but also very realistic. If Joss can sometimes be annoying, Braden is determined to keep her with him, even if it often goes against the will of the latter. He is a hero as they generally are liked, and as I particularly like, with his ability to guess what still think Joss before it, and to anticipate his next move. Their relationship gradually warming up, it is very beautiful. For cons, I do not expect it to be so erotic!
I also liked the secondary romance between Adam and Ellie, who really has the heart on the hand, and having read the short story in English which was devoted to them.
Overall I had a really good read. It is a novel without being extravagant exchange of ordinary romances, and I highly recommend if you like passionate relationships and tortured characters.
