And it was true, people who-still-hesitant. This is introductory. By closing this volume, I have a hundred questions that turn me around the head like planets around the sun - I am the sun, am a bit to please. Entering the world of Outrepasseurs and Fez is slow, and if it can curb some, it can also attract others - like me.
Peter's story, the hero, is in his very short set, since this volume takes place on an evening + a morning during which the history of his ancestors immersed in his head. And what a story!
It is true that I am not tied me to a character of the present moment, as Peter. But I ridiculously attached to his ancestors, to the point of being greedy in their history, which has messed that of their descendants on eight centuries. The plot is captivating and has more than tickled my curiosity, while the universe created by the author gives the feel of a fantastic immensity. But the immensity still some drawbacks. The many characters have a little clueless - adding with duplicate names since ... well you'll see - and I did not know who was who, and who was with whom. So I had a long time of confusion, when I had to make notes not to confuse everything - until I see the family trees in late hehe, shame on me.
Writing Cindy Van Wilder, lyrical and poetic, captivated me, and I loved the darkness of history, hidden beneath this writing one might think innocent. I am deep in my body praying Bookodor God books that looks like Hodor in intelligent, for the following volumes have the same treasure, this false innocence that hides a non-censorship, which will project the history in the heart of the action.
