First of all: it's not about "The Grudge", but the principle. Connoisseurs of the first FEAR will love the second part: shock effects at its best, good enemy AI and a gloomy atmosphere: FEAR 2: Project Origin must have just played. I myself have it, like all the other FEAR games on the computer, but soon a PS3 version comes into the house, because I think the shock effect comes across even better, even without the headset. The graphics leaves nothing to be desired in my opinion. The often conceived as negative "Griesel effect", which can be seen on the HUD of the player character, is in my opinion perfect intention and to bring closer the player virtual reality. That the graphics as "good" as the FEAR of the first games to be, I can not confirm. Here longer worked with lighting effects and HD rendering and antialiasing definitely, as shown in the first part. The gameplay and atmosphere are fully in line with the story: after the nuclear explosion of underground research complex, including Vault there is a gloomy atmosphere (the Griesel effect on the HUD missed its effect). The epicenter of the explosion is very detailed, like the rest of the game shown. And Alma has lost none of its hair-raising appearance: it is skillfully "used" at the appropriate points in the game. The character, Sgt. Becket, also always gets when Alma is near, migraines. These have been presented with a spectacular screen effect - a welcome change of pace for the komene dreary "crackling" of the first part when something paranormal in the immediate vicinity is going on.
Conclusion: even bloodier, outlandishly in good old FEAR style: absolute buy recommendation for every horror fan (especially PS3 owners with a large TV set)
