Actually, I have to this band for a long time no "expectations" more. I know hardly a force that has produced so little originality in 30 years of its commercial zenith as the five Canadians, inasmuch I have in the studio albums so approximately the late 1990s unnerved "abandoned". SAGA have unfortunately never made it to the first four albums, even begin to trans holidays the wit and musical warmth in their subsequent outputs. "Heads Or Tales" was in 1983 -when even hochklassige- "beginning of the end". The usable songs thereafter until the end of the last millennium, I can count them on the fingers of one hand, and it is no coincidence that, in principle, none of them the respective tour has langfistig "survived".
Live, the band was mostly a bank, but technical class (of being required) and creativity when writing new songs are just two pairs of shoes. And the 1997 live album "Detours", then the first of the legendary "In Transit," I have not really good at remembering. As already looked much effort and "stale".
Why am I still come here to amazing 4 stars .... well, the sound quality of "Spin It Again!" is great indeed and -what more importantly actual recording has again this missing "heat" of the first albums. More Keyboards - less guitar (even if it is only in the mix), and promptly comes back something like "old saga Feeling" from the domestic boxing. Michael Sadler was also bestowed the rare grace of having virtually lost none of his vocal qualities. Be modest success pays at the point with a manageable number of concerts even then times out ... ;-)
Conclusion: if you skip the few indispensable new songs (or for personal use completely out cuts ^^) and even the "tried" announcements wegdenkt / -hört that behind "In you get at least 80 minutes Saga at it's best, Transit "in fact does not have to hide! Am almost inclined me to enjoy a concert by the upcoming double-headlining tour with MAGNUM, especially for the almost similar in the retrospective consideration applies (although not so extreme). Nevertheless could be with two "exes" a nice evening ... :)
