Problems:
When I Venetica played the first time I had massive problems with the control (Run = keyboard but viewing angles = mouse) despite 15 years Game experience.
I could not even walk properly straight and thought to myself how can I fight it? I wanted the game to give up ... but give you some time, very quickly
is the control really no longer a problem!
The game itself is unfortunately often bugged times! I recommend you definitely the official patch 1.02 which the graphics (3D) improved massively and over
looking for a search engine of your choice times for "Venetica Auto Fixer" to (updated today to version 2.4).
Otherwise, even the tip always save multiple save games! In the game you usually begenet clipping errors in persons (not responsive, etc.). But all solved ...
To play (very briefly):
Gorgeous graphics, sexy Char & armor, nice dialogues and top story !! Sure, sometimes it sucks and you get to quests like "get it and bring it to .." not around
and also the size of the city (Venice) to despair an initially. You come in building or caves until later in the game and wonder at the beginning
why the hell you now not coming in there or where the key is ??
The puzzles are mostly simple, if you read in the diary (songs, etc.) - otherwise you spend an hour as I so with paper and pen number combinations
write down this crack! So "really" the puzzles are totally easy! ;-)
In Venetica definitely comes at NO addictive like Oblivion etc. - I have had the game loose now rest for 2 months and again only played when I
also had time for it! The final boss I had right away, without losing even one life, done - I found the 2nd Boss in the world of shadows difficult ...
Error in the storyline can not commit (conversations) - choose only a good or bad way or strike which affects the credits. By good I mean
"Normal", so do not worry! I have not always shown mercy because some had it not deserve !! Despite generally good and therefore the credits!
To my person:
I play exclusively only role playing and Hack'n'Slay like Diablo (PC), TES 3: Oblivion (PC), The Witcher (PC), Baldur's Gate (PS2)
Champions of Norrath Return to Arms (PS2), etc. - So who is in this category will also Venetica have his joy!
Conclusion:
The game is worthwhile in any case !! No doubt about it ...
Even if it is not addictive hit, but it has made great fun and I highly recommend it !!
The few dollars that are better invested than to drown the money the game will cost more! ;-)
So get ...
