But first: What you hear here, is not what can be heard on the DVD. For the CD you went clear. After the music, the orchestra, was re-recorded and was reshuffled with Falco's voice restored from the concert, the DVD, they wanted to make the CD otherwise. After the music has been re-recorded, they wanted to a studio album. And therefore not the recordings of the concert, but Falco's original studio recordings were used for this CD.
In this CD so it is not a live concert more, but a new abgemischtes and newly produced studio album (with a few shots, to which one has reportedly found no studio recordings - because then you can hear in fact the same as on the DVD).
Well, I find the CD great. Peppered with classical quotations from Mozart to Strauss the album sounds brand new. It did an excellent sound and surpasses in many respects the original version by far. Just Falco's mega hits in a new light! The Sound of Music, Jeanny, Rock Me Amadeus! In particular, I was pleased to hear that one of my favorite songs on the album: Titanic. And not only that: in addition to the Commissioner, it is the highlight on the album! Brilliant!
There is only one thing: I find that Falco's singing in some places had something calm can be mixed louder.
I love this CD. The best remix album that I know!
