Absolute Surround reference !!!

Much more I try to sound technical aspects, especially to address the surround sound.

Linkin Park has been known to me not on the singles. But when they decided to offer this music in a surround version I first thought of a new version of Metallica's Black Album (DVD-Audio). NOT EVEN CLOSE !!!

Until insert this disc I had recordings as Propaganda - A Secret Wish and FGTH - Rage Hard (both multichannel SACDs, Trevor Horn remixed) and Foreigner - 4 (DVD-Audio) surround technically enthusiastic, as these are not simple the stereo inclusion in a static spatial environment bring (Fleetwood Mac - Rumours, typical ambient surround recording) but also effects can glide through the room. Such recordings it makes one's hair in the neck on !!!

But resuscitation is not just a usual spatialization of the original tapes. It is a real remix album. That is, was limite rend intervened to come as close as possible to the overall impression here not by targets, the original stereo. On The Contrary! While listening to this disc you quickly realize that the overall concept for the surround version was revised and voted.
And it was truly worth it !!

The highlight is certainly 1STP KLOSR (One Step Closer) is! Here is shown the intro what is possible with this medium (DVD-Audio) at the spatial effects. A clean and well-staged performance at Sound runs: not only a sound instrument makes etwar a simple geometrical figure such as a circular motion around the listener, no, a whole Soundstaffette twirl in completely independent patterns across the room. And not in unimaginative paths that repeat ... Again and again the phone is shaken with perverse complexes and absolute term flawless sound carpets and individual sound effects. Since almost do not have time to take a breath !!

Even the Beatles-like entry of KRWLNG (crawl) is awesome !! While the strings almost make a belief that one is present at an unplugged Chamber Music slice of mushroom heads, chirps from left to right very carefully a hi-hat sound around the room until finally the main Synthy sound of the title song heralds and a back obsolete in the modern world.

Conclusion:
I've never known such a clean and perfectly matched slice my own. Brothers in Arms or Pink Floyd - - As well as the Dire Straits come Dark Side of the Moon not ran (also are a bit dated ...). And the result of the spatial effects clearly suggests that the used equipment (ProTools) must be run hot in the calculation of multiple and autonomous sound trajectories)!

Absolute addictive !!!
