I was very skeptical, almost a bit disappointed because of this album, and after a long anticipation on first hearing. Would expect from a man about as Mr. Downey initially rather harder, rockier and gloomy tones. All the more incredible was finally the knowledge of what really is in my CD player since: An absolutely brilliant, artistic quality and incredibly well-produced piano jazz album with fantastic songs. And as if that was not beautiful enough would: Roberts voice is a sensation, technically perfect, with a unique timbre, soulful melting but also harsh jazzy edge - in short, it makes unavoidably addictive. The stereotype of the singing actor does not work here, Mr. Downey is effortlessly established vocal greats of the music industry in a deep black shade. And even after 10 times, listening to the album still sounds fresh, new and exciting. An absolute gem, I can only recommend and want. I hope he does soon an album - that's real quality music in times of Castings and shallow pop. They're unique!
