I have looked for my old notebooks (eg Toshiba Portege 4010 of 2002) ever bought a 32GB and a 64GB SSD. The disks were detected without difficulty by the BIOS and the installation of XP was quick and without any problems. With SSD Fresh the necessary corrections carried out done! One almost feels to have a new laptop as fast starts XP now :-) Also working is at least a little faster when you start the program. Of course, it does not replace a new laptop :-) but it does make something more fun with the old notebook. It is also a little quieter (depending on laptop) because you no longer hear the hard drive. Although such an IDE SSD is more expensive as a normal, but it does have its advantages though.
