Accustomed fun with (partly) an unusual gameplay

As Mike ("MGN") has already given a detailed gameplay description and you can get the rest of the information on Carcassonne.de or YouTube, I will use my review to address a few details that personally all the usual for me from Carcassonne and here rediscovered game not detrimental, but were each responsible for a moment's reflection, and perhaps may trigger a constructive discussion here.

Before I use the guide to list these details in turn, I would like to summarize, however, that the game for about EUR 15, - contains a lot of beautifully designed and functional material, I like the original Carcassonne brings a lot of fun and I product for a round thing holding. For five star.

1) On page 3 of the (in my opinion, well-designed and generally designed for intelligibility) Instructions is a comma too much: "On the (

Although this may be seen from other rules, I felt compelled me time to investigate with the authors of the game where, interestingly, a user named "Burkhard" has asked the same question. The given there of (alleged) Game editorial staff inside answer surprised me so that I would have liked, that is more in the instructions to this point.

The (initially surprising for me) Answer: Sets player A be in the example outlined above platelet with fishing boat that he gets himself absolutely nothing, but triggers for player B a rating of the maritime area, so that B receives the fish yield of its maritime area (and then decrease as usual with coverplates must).

Somehow the rules relating to the fishing boats is a bit spongy, but like the majority of players go differently.

Appreciated by many players might by itself, but an indication at this point of the guide or later in the "Evaluation of open areas" could clarify this.

4) I'll probably getting old and gray, but in the final vote, I would have liked a tool to me to remember the scores achieved by the various players. The well-known from the primordial Carcassonne scoring track is not included in Carcassonne South and also during the game not necessary, since scored no points, but the goods are recovered. But in the end it goes once clenched points from completed contracts and leftover inventories that want to be held and pinned neatly apart, at least until the winner or the winner is determined.

I'm going to maybe make a simple list and submit it with the game board, which can be the determined scores of all players perpetuate, even to the possibility to have at every new game to check ambitious, whether the previous "high score" was cracked. ;-)
