Addictive with its driving energetic music

I know for almost three weeks, the two only. When I in AUPEO! first heard, I had to look away which is the band. Then I saw on the internet just about all videos that I could find, and was even more excited. My very first reflex, when I saw in the video, was probably like many other first-seers also: "What, are only two of you?".

It's amazing how the two alone make this high-energy, propulsive, yet rhythmic as melodic, very unusual music that draws me literally in a maelstrom. Fascinatingly well as the singer and drummer Steven Ansell manages so loud and aggressive singing, and yet every note absolutely precise and clear singing and also heard strong tilt for the drums.

I knew the band so out of one song from AUPEO! Only from live recordings.

Then came the first of the ordered CDs the 2012 album release "In Time To Voices" with me - and I was disappointed. As well some producer had the band in the studio totally ironed smooth. All the edgy and aggressive missing. While it is still recognizable, the music of the two, but at this level it is really just normal and then tend to be more boring rock music .... so was my impression.

And apparently this was also the impression of the duo:
For how to read, they have taken up this last CD without producers alone in a Berlin studio and produced, they were asked for 3 months.

And that was a good thing! This CD is back to the way I like best about the band!

If I wish for a band something, for these two to actually have long deserved breakthrough - that they no longer have to draw every year on 200 concerts tours from club to club ...
