I thoroughly enjoyed Dorian Gray. So when I finally learned that this famous book untitled offered by Lord Henry and that it was secretly reads: A Rebours by Huysmans I did not hesitate to buy it. I really wanted to know what Oscar Wilde had scored at that point to influence the character of Dorian Gray. This book is a piece of art that takes us into the confines of the neurosis of the rich that not finding anything to his taste sinks into the fatal luxury and goes crazy. There is no action, but there is a huge talent as a writer, the French language is an art and the sublime Huysmans.
