So I did last week also ordered the Medusa 5.1 Mobile me, despite all the bad reviews, there is to read here.
In the beginning I had not blown away the sound. So I went to search driver, because the driver of the Speedlink page appeared to be quite old (from 15:01:08) yet.
What stands out is that the driver of Speedlink in the Windows Device Manager indicates the date when 21:07:07 ... so can not be the latest and certainly not from of 2008.
Up to this point the headset was good, but not perfect.
Then I went on a search and found a few hours later a driver from another headset, which, however, also used the C-Media driver. Date of the driver, according to Device Manager 23.05.2008! So much new.
After installation, and of course a couple of settings in the equalizer the headset was perfect. Super good bass, treble perfect :)
Games are a new experience :)

So who says that the headset would be nothing familiar either with the settings not used or ancient drivers ...
My recommendation to buy there, even if Amazon no longer offers the headset.
