Unfortunately, with the first delivery on 27.12.2014 the Sony KDL-40R485 after initial configuration relatively many and large black spots on the screen were visible. Called Amazon customer service on 30.12.2014 and described problem. I have been offered an immediate replacement, which I accepted, of course. The second device came after a few days with me and everything worked perfectly! Kudos to the Customer Service, as at 30.12.2014 served me a very competent and very friendly gentleman. TV now works 1A.
