Conclusion: 5 stars for the mounting frame and another 5 for the good service!
*** First review: ***
The adapter kit is indeed composed of two parts: the drive enclosure for the SuperDrive and the mounting frame for the second hard disk.
1. Mounting frame:
On the whole, the hard drive was installed quite good, the frame is but an estimated half a millimeter too high. This now has the body of the MacBook Pro right front a small gap, which was not there before (see photos: gap right, to compare the left corner). Is not dramatic, and the closest case screw can be light pressure also fix, but beautiful that's not natural.
2. Drive Cage:
The SuperDrive was easy to install in the housing. Unfortunately, however, provides either my betagtes MacBook Pro too little juice on the USB ports, or else it's like me a seller has declared at Gravis: that Apple has namely in older MacBooks prevented by a circuit that the old Super Drives on can be removed this way and continue to be used externally. - Anyway: now the external drive goes to a newer MacBook and also at my professional Windows notebook. In this respect, this deficit is probably not the fault of the manufacturer of the adapter kits
Conclusion: Given the lack of fit of the HDD frame's only 3 stars
