From the first Hurts album "Happiness" I was seriously excited, and it has long been one of my all-time favorites. So I was looking forward insane that a second album should follow. But when I think about how impatient I waited until the appearance of this successor, I was curious as to whether the level would be held ... hmmm, I could have saved me everything. Because - and I'm in the soul hurts to have to say that - this second Hurts album do not like me. Even more: I am really shocked by the incident and heartless when it comes to melodies, the sound and mood of the music. I think on "Exile" with the best will not find a single song could take it with just one song on "Happiness", let alone the complete debut in all its genius. I'll probably often even have to pinch in the next few days to make sure that I have this huge disappointment not dreamed about "Exile". For me, these are no longer hurts, as I have discovered three years ago enthusiastically. It is quite incomprehensible why the two musicians have so much away from what made them stand out from the same old hands down then and has made large, and have drifted into irrelevance and those same pabulum. Sorry, Theo and Adam, where I would have been your debut prefer ten instead of five stars, already a star seems to me inappropriate. But one must indeed forgiven. Okay, who is responsible for the artwork, which is really successful. Conversely - poor presentation, good music - but it would be a thousand times better to me. The question remains for me: Can I check off the topic Hurts or should I still hope for the third album yet?
