Since I'm a big fan of this gifted Finnish pagan metal band, I was very excited about their latest work. And I was not disappointed, quite the opposite. The album has convinced me in every aspect. The production is natural and at the same time very powerful. The songs come in typical Ensiferum sound and therefore unite Eingägigkeit, hardness and folky sounds like one would expect from this band. Even the artwork of Digibooks has been very impressive once again. The only weak points are the final song "Neito Pohjolan" which has failed me too moderate country and pop and the sounding to disco sound middle part of the otherwise great tracks "Two of Spades" for me.
