Bible of the Beast (Audio CD)

Customer Review

That the power metal of Powerwolf very strong religious influences has in 2009 was no more a surprise as the fact the singer Attila Dorn had a classical vocal training and you do not recoiled before the smashing riffs to expand choruses.

The surprise was more the album itself. The debut already had very strong moments, but was sometimes loosely from the hard, polished second plant * Lupus Dei * dwarfed. And with * Bible Of The Beast * was packed again plan a significant increase. The band, consisting of Attila Dorn, Matthew Greywolf, Charles Greywolf, Falk Maria Schlegel and Stéfane Funèbre could, every critic belie who had believed only a flash in the pan after the debut album.

The disc combines metallic kitsch with a strong singing voice, popping riffing with sophisticated songwriting and theatricality with a lot of momentum. The songs have highly recognizable and the entire disc has a high metallic addictive. The songs * St. Satan Day *, * Raise Your Fist, Evangelist * are clearly among my favorites and the band presented * Ressurection By Erection * clear with songs like that one, despite the gloomy atmosphere not forget the fun.

CONCLUSION: hard, loud, with a wink ...
