When the package arrived I was amazed despite the indication of just 13kg, how easy is the mower! 13kg is almost nothing and even though I should have known it, but then I was amazed at how Bosch reached: through the use of plastic.
The Rotak seems to consist almost entirely of plastic! This makes it the lightweight, but is unfortunately not particularly wertig from, but rather by an oversized children's toys.
The sun shines, the grass hats needed the man is on the job, so even the woman: the first building went intuitively without a single tool need. This may be because that is good assembled (wheels, blades) and only the handle and catch tray must be installed. I think that's awesome good!
Power off (Attention goes only with cable!) And set losgemäht, cutting height.
Adjusting the cutting height is slightly higher than a side-mounted lever, just pull something out and press into the next detent, already you can clearly see how the mower is lifted or lowered.
Compared to gasoline, the Rotak is very low, comparable to the things go with music on low volume.
The starting and the operation is only possible if you have both hands on the handlebars, there are both handles switches that must be pressed simultaneously. That's great with regard to safety, but a bit annoying when you have to restart every time, because it has a Hand to secure the power cord.
The handle system combines good. I'm quite small and with the handles in the lowest setting I get on really well, my husband would have certainly put the handles higher. Whether the design of the handle is more ergonomic, I do not like to judge, I would say, a reasonable set handle is always ergonomic.
But what really convinced me: the low weight of the Rotak is super versatile! Without breaking a sweat, I cut the lawn! It also praised the Airflowsystem noticed positively. On the edges I had hardly rework. Also I know from gasoline differently.
All in all, the Rotak a good electric mower. The cable is admittedly a bit annoying, and the plastic makes the visual impression of something inexpensive, but the maneuverability and cutting precision make all betting!
