This now fourth 18-55mm Canon lens for EF-S bayonets is definitely the best by far. The images are sharp crack, the colors are correct, vignetting or chromatic aberrations are -at least bisher- not noticed. Here, the lens is lightweight and completely silent, the new STM technique. Together with the highly compact 100D results in only about 700g lightweight combination that is perfectly adequate for most situations and causes that the good old 5D MkII has increasingly stay at home.
