Ah yes, the German jury ....

In this Grand Prix Year (okay, ESC-year) although there was quite songs that I liked or not so met are not my taste, but there were very strong participants at the start, many melodies that remained in the ear. Tastes are just different, and yet: The votings were very clearly and then speaks for the quality of the songs.
With "Rise like a Phoenix" Austria has completely won cope, congratulations !!! Apart from the tolerance debate (that it is necessary despite or perhaps because of victory to show the statements in the social network) is the song a wonderful, honest ESC anthem, beautifully composed and sung with heart and skill and very professionally presented.
What else is there to say?
Especially I was pleased with second place in the Netherlands, who are always secreted so many years already in the semifinals. "Calm after the Storm" is a soft, intense song that also impressed by the simple and therefore ingenious stage presentation (and by the charismatic singer).
Spain also is very strong, Ruth Lorenzo sings the hell out of them and is fully deserved landed in the top ten.
Large Can also proves Andray Kallay-Saunders from Hungary, who proved with "Running", that somber themes can succeed at ESC. A song with a lot of soul. The same applies to Carl Espen from Norway with "Silent Storm".
Beautiful songs, the front seats have earned in the charts.

Good radio songs are also contributions from Slovenia, Finland, Russia (despite everything) and Maltal

What can be said about the major European countries?
Italy offers an energetic song, great singing. Britain also strong, but by too many people on stage the song lost much of its strength, would performs the singer alone, they would have ended up front in my opinion any further. France is funny, well is also good on the radio to listen to me but to calculate funny - yet sympathetic.

Well, and then there are the contributions that you can skip or under "also-rans" run, but can demonstrate qualities: To my taste are the example Portugal, Sweden, Denmark, Armenia ...

That Israel is excreted undeserved in the semifinals, I very much regret. This should be investigated. The same applies to "Bake the Cake".

Now to Germany. Of course Elaiza are sympathetic and have done well. But the song reminds me at all, but more charm to a school band, which unfortunately also applies to the presentation. One can not expect that someone who has previously played only in pubs, can fill such a big stage. That's not a question of ability or will, but simply the experience. The Germans have perhaps too much selected in the preliminary round with the (especially German) heart, because it was so moving in the course of decision-making process, to see how the girls look forward to their mighty rise. Something like the Germans (rightly), but always forget that a contribution on the night only ONCE is seen and this Herzschmerzgetue passes by the millions in Europe, because they just do not realize. It's just more in demand (Europe compliant) professionalism. How to do this, Stefan Raab has led the way with Lena and Roman Lob (I'm not a fan of Raab, but I leave happy and grateful! Him).

The German jury has once again disgraced, and the NDR with its selection. Types that have absolutely nothing to do with the Euro Vision, although may have an idea, but possibly in other areas.
