This book is in my opinion an excellent illustration of what the photo is made: light. It is not enough to go somewhere and strafing, even knowing compose and having some creative ideas: the light is essential, and most of the photos in this book are often "simple" testimony of a passion, without really they are driven by a real vision or a coherent aesthetic approach. As such, Thomas Jorion proposes a powerful vision in his "Silencio".
The book is an average for a picture book, and the layout is sometimes questionable. Some find themselves inexplicably pictures used to illustrate different places ... An aftertaste of sloppy, but the idea remains pleasant and has the merit of making curious - and perhaps serve as a guide for planning a trip?
