The NEX-3N is the entry in Sony's system camera world and leaves many low-SLR look old.
The camera is small, handy and makes a high impression. The lens I already know of the NEX-6 and has convinced me there already. Also at the small NEX it makes very well.
Both in combination results in a handy camera, which, although still significantly too large to fit in your pocket, but it delivers high-quality images in SLR quality.
The battery lasts not quite as long, for long photo tours to strongly recommends a replacement battery.
With the 16-50mm lens can be safely cover many fields of application. What the NEX system unfortunately generally lacking, in my opinion is an inexpensive all-Zoom that also covers the telephoto range. The 18-200mm is very expensive and to a Elendiger dust Pumper, which resulted in my NEX-6 that I constantly had to clean the sensor.
But great are the many primes if. Sony itself, the cheap but very good sigmoid colon or of course the excellent and high-priced Zeiss lenses
Especially with fixed focal lengths succeed the NEX-3 amazing images. Whether one uses the very good automatic or programs or settings even makes does not matter: the result is impressive.
I have yet adopted again by the NEX system. One reason is the abysmal Menu, which constantly drives me to despair. Since Sony yes eg on the RX series or the Alpha models shows that one riff simple and well-structured user interfaces, I am very surprised that the NEX models got missed this confusing menu structures.
Another, more subjective gripe is that the operation for me just is not intuitive. Especially with hectic situations you must be able to operate his camera blind. The I get the NEX simply not go.
That's why I stay with my A58- and A77-DSLTs, although weight and pack size can sometimes annoy.
Go I still have the RX100, which is an ideal take-along camera for me.
Nevertheless, he who seeks an introduction to the mirrorless system cameras or just a compact camera with excellent image quality, never mind with the NEX-3 is incorrect. These one or two good prime lenses and you're perfectly equipped.
