I bought this to replace Universal drive my old Yamaha dvd player. I'm not disappointed.

DVD Playback: upscale is very good and again my old DVD live through QDEO
Reading BR: With only one movie, my opinion can not be relevant, but the picture was very correct.

SACD playback: Using the 2 HDMI output, it's my amp that decodes the DSD. This is much better than the RCA outputs of the DVD.
Play CD: Okay still using the HDMI 2.
Smart TV: unnecessary Option I tested anyway, it's not bad but it takes a very good ADSL.
Operation: Platinum a little slow at times, but no crash.

Compared to OPPO turntables, Philips is cheaper, possibly less efficient, but less than 250 we can accept some kinks.
