Negatives: When playing or ripping CD's will be (probably through the feeder mechanism) each time slightly damaged totally in the form of a plunger-like scratch, considering the price unacceptable. Device-internal music database somewhat impractical because assignment to the individual categories (eg Composer, Künstker etc.) partially incorrect. The enclosed FreeDB Data Bank does not operate reliably when assigning metadata. As a solution, I will arrange the CDs and music on your PC to meet your categories. Positives: Very good sound (For me there is no difference to CD player 1500 audible), XLR-connection possible, volume control, and thus direct connection to power amp or powered speakers possible rapid access to hard disk, the device itself can be used as a music database for other devices, high-resolution (HiRes) installed files easily playable, FM receivers and phono preamp (MM), shooting digitize vinyl records, FM and Internet radio possible, ribs and play CD's (with the abovementioned limitation), very easy to read display, operation and without FB directly on the device. Despite the incomprehensible mechanical limitations (to play CD's I continue to use my CD player) predominates for me probably the most unique at the moment variety of possibilities this device that actually covers the entire spectrum of digital music playback in a single unit.
