After extensive testing, I can now draw my conclusion:
Housing / Processing: An eye-catcher is the lower transparent strip that is lit up at the three Android buttons typical of LEDs. The slightly edged housing form tells me personally too. The aluminum body of the SXP is unfortunately Duch the top and bottom plastic cover "desecrated" the differences in color of paint are fortunately well done. Less well resolved is the somewhat shaky bottom plastic cap that is shaking more or less, according to other kitch SXP users strong. (You can but make do with double-sided tape, still half a star deduction)
Battery: Depending on the usage profile, the battery after 1 to 2 days empty. For me, a good performance when the display size and the Leistungsfähifkeit of Dula cores considered. Overnight in flight mode few percent loss are also very good.
That the battery is firmly installed, namely preventing a simple exchange, but Sony extended the guarantee but which from 1 to 2 years, and is thus in order.
Display: 4 inches are as I said for me personally, an optimal compromise between size and compactness. Positive also the brightness with Sony's "White Magic" is to mention technology that ensures at Phones otherwise unusually good readability of the display outdoors.
But negative falls of slight yellow tinge of the display (compared to the more "cool" AMOLED displays), and the green cast in the representation of shades of yellow with high brightness of the display. This unfortunately makes from Sony's "White Magic" more of a "Green Magic" -Tachnologie! (Half star deduction; hopefully rectified here via software update!)
System: Sony has its Xperia Dieste very well integrated in Android and provides a smart and fast user interface. Currently running Android 2.3.7, where the update is already announced in 4.0.4. (With ICS might be expected an increase in output and an improved energy management)
Accessories: Duch the supplied Sony Smart tags can be NFC in everyday meaningful use. Unfortunately, it is for example the flight mode is not switched on smart tag controlled on and off (possibly there also a remedy via software update)
The mitgeliefrte in-ear headset is processed nobly and provides a decent sound.
This also included quick charger ensures fast charging of SXP in only 1.5 hours.
So all in all a super smartphone with optimal screen size and software Nachbersserungspotential.
