The Lansky brought already the second attempt super results in the kitchen knives which 10 years were not sanded.
Top Sharp and cut now also again the "paper test".
Since the knife so long saw no grindstone, the treatment with the coarsest stone took a bit longer (about 20 by way per diameter side). The whole "outbreaks" of the blade could be grinding away.
I myself have to buy me the desk mounts and these screwed onto a cutting board. However, it could be the enclosed tension kit also hold in your hand, but what to me is too much trouble.
From me a strong buy recommendation for knives which have badly needed a cut.
To obtain new knives I use the Sharpmaker of Spyderco.
Two tools that complement each other very well.
