An advantage I see in the uncomplicated fixing with magnet. This also holds bombproof both on wood and on woodchip wallpaper. Whether you bored or stuck, but is a matter of taste: in both cases the ground is more or less affected, if you want to dismantle the detector again.
Otherwise the detector worked flawlessly in my test button. The red LED disturbs however.
Supplement 24.11.14: The warning alarm Low battery alarm was. A review of the battery showed no loss of tension, an exchange yielded no improvement.
