Alternative to Harmony and innovative approach ??

Have been a week now in the possession of the remote control. Unfortunately, the device could not be done on my MacBook (there is no LAN connection - but can not help it OFA) but with my reluctantly launched Windows laptop and according to the instructions supplied with the packing and safety's sake performed reset at the Bridge with relative ease.

The device setup is pretty self-explanatory and works for me with the following devices: Samsung Plasma, Humax iCord HD, Sony Blue Ray player, Onkyo receiver Apple TV - not to run I get a Logitech / PS3 adapter!

Request here would be a code list or Internet connection for integration "missing" parts. - Supplement 01.01.2014: Code search / list now integrated on the homepage of the manufacturer - the Logitech PS3 adapter is now running with the Codenumer 2639 on, but not for key assignment perfectly.

The actual Nevo app was designed and introduced (on iPad) not particularly sparkling but also not too bad.

Wish would be here: if you had more specific devices still images and could adjust the size.

The adjustment is, in principle feasible, individually assigned buttons can be customized and renamed, but they can always take into consideration only the manufacturer recommended space and adapted neither in size nor in the position, and also when the the Design be.

Request here would be: much freer and configuration options of customization to user needs. Right here, this modern tablet yet many currently untapped opportunities!

The actual operation via touch panel is not quite as good as with the "perceived" buttons on the Harmony, but after some getting quite acceptable.

No suggestions for improvement, except for customizable sound "key tone"

The speed of the commands is very high, and error-free, through the offices and accompanying me infrared sensor are all devices, even behind the glass doors of satinieten Multimedia furniture reached 100% - class! This part seems to have very high power!

Prima is also the possibility with several bridges to program the app for different rooms, I will use in future höchtwahrscheinlich to favor and a little more positive test time. The two LAN ports for integrating cable network devices (in my case the iCord) is well resolved and properly!

The currently biggest negative for me and the biggest annoyance of Nevo-App is the immature and poorly written TV Guide.
Here you can indeed, in principle, find all stations (use Astra - Sat with Sky) and that's the best here. One finds in various lists the different stations, with rather strange preconfigurations and compilations. These are just customize by great craftsmanship and forget to make matters worse, even the Einstellngen if you change the original selection list here - It can not go! Also an order (for example, after sorting the receiver) is because that makes sense yes then you quickly switch to define only in the favorites - why? The only single assignment of channel numbers in each list is implemented time-consuming and extremely poor. The information about each Seb'ndungen were okay - the optics pretty lean. At least the channel logos appear relatively chic and automatically.

Taken together, these remote idea is the right step into the future and already relatively well implemented. If this product maintained that app (especially in the operator area) is individuller adaptable, and especially the TV Guide is stable and easy to use, my Harmony is then discarded. Who is looking for an innovative remote control solution, is also already right, because I think at times good support from OFA and the necessary levels of evolution in this product. The basic functions are in any case before perfectly!
Overall, then 7 out of 10 points!
