Good new and innovative ideas!

All that with "Descent - Journeys in the Dark" have already spent some evenings soon notice that in the standard quests not particularly innovative ideas are included. The Quest Compendium you get shown that interesting scenarios - apart from the usual search-key-Kill Bosses principle - can be implemented.
The quests contained in the Compendium have been devised by known quantities of the RPG world and implemented carefully. By the hardcover price is a bit high, but I personally feel bound books from the "look-and-feel" her much better than the paper books from the game and the expansion packs.

Certainly there are a few shortcomings which should be mentioned:
1. To use all contained scenarios play, various extensions are required. This is mentioned in the product description indeed, but not described in detail. Only 7 of 18 scenarios can be played with no extension.

2. There are some bug fixes and additions, which, for example, on the website of the publisher (Fantasy Flight Games) can be found in PDF format.

Finally, you should be aware before purchasing that this is the English edition. When the German translation will be published is currently uncertain.

The lack of clarity about the required expansion and the long list of corrections costs a star in the rating.
Nevertheless, I find that the Quest Compendium is an asset to all Descent player and therefore belongs in the game collection.
