The sampler should really offer something for every taste: from jazzy German cover versions English Original Hits (Stefan Gwildis' interpretation "Apparently, it's you" of "Is not No Sunshine" and "shoot me but to the Moon" as a German version of " Fly Me To The Moon "of the NDR Big Band) on country-heavy songs (Frank Ramond with presented with tongue in cheek" She's her girlfriends told "and Frank Meyers melancholischeres" Even earlier times ") to dramatic ballads (the bombastic, of melancholy pervaded "skin" of the now unfortunately defunct again band Ruben Cossani reminiscent right to send high-flyer "You carry no love in you" and the bittersweet "command demise" of the fascinating Anna Depenbusch) and completely surprising, delightfully different numbers (here sting particularly the numbers of Konrad Wissmann, a former member of the band of Ruben Cossani forth, most of them with tempo changes and nice ideas and my secret gem "Tim loves Tina" by Anna Depenbusch - a slightly different love song, in which even the infamous F-word as a vow of love and the only sounds as sarcasm abounds despite the lightness of the melody). The whole is crowned by two (despite the rather serious topic) Good mood sprayed classics of Annett Louisan (their debut single "The Game" and "Press 1") and two very charming songs of Ina Müller, where especially the heart-warming "Bye Bye Arschgeweih "is great and is fun.
Overall, a terrific, diverse mix that you can listen throughout and a welcome chance for you to discover perhaps unknown, new German-language music. In addition to the distinctive Annett Louisan and stunningly charming Ina Müller stands out for me just the convertible Anna Depenbusch and makes almost wanting more. Who likes to listen to high-quality Deutschpop who should not let this beautiful free sampler missed.
