A "grotte bad album"? Nonsense. Too bad that the hardcore jazz fans scream every time a jazz musician a little bit cross-eyed the bigger picture. And amazing how accurate and tasteful which can be increased if the jazz musician Herbie Hancock is; amazing how lightly to veteran Herbie (the man is 70!) are still able to move between styles and genres. Perhaps he has already brought better fusion albums out, but "The Imagine Project" is still a far cry from the mass-produced pop, which is otherwise published on a large scale today. Personally, I find P! Nk in "Imagine" very well - a voice with "goose bumps" factor. Sure, this is a far cry from the original - but have mostly cover versions now halt times as se ... And kitschy and cluttered, I do not find the song, just listen to the extended intro - that's the finest Hancock , Original and at a high level and the remaining tracks: The Fights between Derek Trucks Guitar and Piano in Hancocks "Space Captain" are gorgeous and "Exodus" with K`NAAN, Tinariwen and Los Lobos is something of the most original, what I long Time've heard. Four stars from me.
